When the Red Revolution started in 1917, a Pandora’s box of global governance was opened. President Wilson had a similar vision in his League of Nations creation, albeit as a compromising answer to Russian threats. A rebellion against God’s plan for nations, and the dominance of Christian nations in the west compelled communist idealists to reform their Marxist ideals into a perpetual wheel of revolution. Wilson’s League was an apologetic and soft answer to that wheel. Here we are one hundred years later. Communism has re-branded itself through the ‘perestroika’ or reform of the eighties and nineties. They used Wilson’s own league, itself re-branded as the UN to re-launch the revolution with yet another ideal. That ideal was sustainable development. Yes, the green revolution was and is the red revolution gone modern and appealing to the west. World communism and sustainable development are the same thing!
The UN General Assembly adopted a Resolution on September 25th, 2015 entitled,
“Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”
In this project, sustainable development is global communism redefined. There are seventeen goals listed. They are:
1. No poverty. 2. No hunger. 3. Good health.
4. Quality education. 5. Gender equality. 6. Clean water.
7. Renewable energy. 8. Good jobs. 9. Innovation and Infrastructure.
10. Reduced inequalities. 11. Sustainable cities. 12. Responsible consumption.
13. Protect the planet. 14. Life below water. 15. Life on land.
16. Peace and security. 17. Partnerships for these goals.
These goals are admittedly the lattice work placed upon the scaffolding of the Millennium Development Goals of nearly 15 years ago. In fact, Millennium Development and Sustainable Development are simply a western style republishing of the Communist Manifesto. In every case the promises are savior like, but the deliverance is yet to be had. Its real results can only be called a success where it has been able to place its name, manifesto, and goals over top of the efficiency of the Christian wests free markets, military justice, and moral vision. They just keep stealing our vocabulary. The multiple adaptations are poor, yet they continue to put on a show.
The Bible as the framework for nationhood, calls for men to organize themselves nationally NOT globally. Babel was not pleasing to God in any of its reboots. Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome are all examples of this same political construct. Nimrod’s tower and the UN’s goals are quite similar. They both pretend to be the arbitrator of hunger, health, energy, jobs, peace and equality. In the end they will face the same failure. Jesus is the only global government that will ever be or should ever be aspired to, but He will establish it, not we ourselves. That is the Bible answer.
Meanwhile, our Marxist Pope endorsed this nonsensical fantasy because he too wants to make a name for himself. In an address at the time, Francis praised the Iranian nuclear deal, the UNs 2030 agenda, and a global open borders policy. It seems our own President Obama is on the same page. His political footprints are dancing to this music. He visits Cuba, funds Iranian nuclear dreams, and applauds sustainable development. No wonder the 2016 elections seem comedic. Make no mistake, this world and it’s leadership are only laughing at the fall of America. The only stronghold against this communist revolution is awash in its own pleasures. Take for instance the Global Citizen Festival in New York City. Young people rock out, TV personalities glimmer, and the message of one world is heralded. Sustainable development is the mantra, but communism is the goal. You Tube hosts “we the people for the global goals – a declaration of ideas” where these 17 goals are repeated by famous personalities like a sermon for world brotherhood. The UN Development Plan at UNDP.org points to this sermon listing three pillars: social progress, economic growth, and environmental protection. Which in commie speak mean usurp the church’s morality, redistribute the west’s wealth, and centralize the government into one federal head. Wake up and watch out. A real attempt at communist global control is at play here.
Finally, Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein, (an interesting name indeed) the High Commissioner for Human Rights at the UN, (an interesting position indeed) says the adoption by every nation and every person of these goals and this agenda is a “binding duty”. He says, “we must recognize the new agenda for what it is – an agenda of equality.” Translation? Let’s lower the superiority of Christ, Christianity, the United States of America, and Western prosperity to the pathetic level of life seen in Communist, Muslim, and Morally neglectful socialist states. No thank you. Sustainable development, like Communism is a departure from God. That is no way to run a nation or organize the world.
“Now therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only.” -2 Kings 19:19
“Now therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou only.” -Isaiah 37:20
“Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.” -Zephaniah 3:8
